Workshop no. 28: Gather Round: Kokedama Planting Party
On Wednesday, July 24th, 2019, a small group of plant enthusiasts convened in our store after we had closed to the public to partake in a special hands-on Kokedama making party. Over the course of the evening, our knowledgeable team provided a wide array of plants and taught attendees how to create and care for these potless wonders.

About Kokedama
Meaning “moss ball” in English, a Kokedama is a moss-covered ball of soil with an ornamental plant growing inside. Like Bonsai and Ikebana, this centuries-old form of Japanese gardening is a great way to bring a natural element into your home. They can be displayed on a platform or hung from string or wire to create a unique “string garden”!
