Edamame Recipe

These premature soybeans are a colorful, healthy alternative to greasy finger foods. The package may suggest boiling the beans but steaming actually keeps the flavor truer and avoids the risk of soggy or overcooked beans.

Directions:
1) Add frozen beans to a pot and cover with water. Add 1 tbsp of salt to water. Soak for 7 minutes and then drain the water.
2) Over low heat in a covered pot, steam the beans for 7 minutes.
3) Salt and serve.
